Junior Dinner and Trophy Presentation

On the 17th November 2019 it was the Annual Junior Dinner and Trophy Presentation, it was a busy day for the Juniors as they also played the Gordon Snape Rosebowl earlier on in the day. This is the Annual match against the Male Adult members of the club. There was a fantastic turnout for the Junior Dinner where parents and relatives were invited a long to see the awards handed out for achievements over the year. Junior Captain James Bishop was there to assist Captain Matt Fleming in handing out the trophies and it was a great way to recognise how well the Juniors had done over the year. The evening saw Suzy Cribb pick up the award for Junior Golfer of the Year. 

It has been a thoroughly successful year for the Junior section and we hope this shall continue in 2020 with Jake Moore the new Junior Captain. There should also be some new faces to the Junior Section next year after the new motion was agreed to extend our Junior Membership allowance from 60 to 80 and this should only help strengthen the standard of Junior golfers we have here at Ferndown.
