Courses Manager, Danny Murray

Having been in the industry for over twenty years in a career which has taken me from Scotland to the South Coast of England via America and working at some fine Venues, most recently at The Wisley I have gained a lot of good experiences that I am excited about putting this to good use at Ferndown Golf Club.

The irresistible attraction for me to join Ferndown was the clubs focus on developing and improving the Golf courses.

My ultimate goal is to enhance playability on both Courses, Heathland restoration and build a happy hard-working team.

I am a plus one handicap and have won a Surrey County Championship back in 2016 along with two Club Championships at my club in Surrey. I really look forward to meeting and playing golf with the members of Ferndown.

I recently got married to my wife Ana in Scotland in December (before they locked everything down).

I am so excited and delighted to be at Ferndown Golf Club.

Paul Jackson, Head Green Keeper I have been green keeping at Ferndown Golf Club since 1989 and am proud to have worked my way up to the position of Head Green Keeper in 2017 on completing my NVQ level 3 sports turf management qualification.

Producing playing surfaces of the highest standard as well as a first class presentation requires a team of professional green keepers and I am delighted to be part of the team who take pride in what we do.

Please enjoy your round of golf.
