Helping you make the most of your visit

We want you to thoroughly enjoy your time with us as our guest at one of the top golf Clubs in the UK, so please spend a few moments familiarising yourself with the following information and guidelines.

Getting to us  – Ferndown Golf Club is situated in Golf Links Road, Ferndown, Dorset. Our postcode for Sat Nav purposes is BH22 8BU. You can find a map  here . 

Punctuality  - Please arrive at least 15 minutes before you are due to play as you will need to allow time to pay the balance of your green fees and produce your handicap certificate. If you are late, you run the risk of having your booking cancelled and/or inconveniencing other players.

In addition, please allow extra time before your round tees off for any practice and warm-up activity to ensure your game starts promptly.

Upon arrival  - Please report to the Professional's Shop, which is on the left hand side as you come through the archway to the main Club building. This is where you can pay any balance due on your green fees and produce your handicap certificate.

Equipment hire  – Trolleys, electric trolleys, buggies, clubs and balls can all be hired from the Professional's Shop but please do contact us well in advance of your visit to ensure we can meet your requirements. 

Tees  – Men should play from the Yellow Tee Markers, while women should play from the Red Tee Markers. First or Ninth Tee starts are as instructed by the Course Starter.

Security  – Please take good care of your belongings at all times while visiting Ferndown Golf Club as the Club is not liable for the property of visitors. Ensure that valuables are not left unattended in cars or elsewhere around the Club. Free key operated lockers are available to you, for your convenience.

Practice facilities  – We have a selection of practice and warm up facilities for you to use prior to your game which include a warm up net, putting green and 7 bay 250 yard practice range. Tokens for the latter are available from the Professional's Shop. Please allow good time for any practice and warm up activities you undertake before your round, to ensure you start your game on time.

Food & refreshments  – We have high quality and comprehensive catering facilities in the Clubhouse, with a coffee machine available from 7.30am and a full range of food and beverages available from 9.00am onwards.

Lunch and dinner are normally served in the Dining Room whilst snacks for smaller groups can be taken in the Lounge.

If you'd like breakfast snacks served before 9.30am or for us to cater for a lunch or dinner for a larger party (usually 12 or more), please call our office on 01202 653950 at least 48 hours before your visitor booking to discuss your requirements.

Society packages  – Tuesdays and Fridays at Ferndown Golf Club are our Society Days and we have a range of packages you can select from for groups of 12 players or more. You can find more information  here . 

Mobile phones  – Mobile phones should only be used in the car park. They are NOT permitted in the Clubhouse, the terrace, the Clubhouse grounds or on the course except in emergencies.
