On Friday 8th March we had our annual presentation of wheelchairs and other Mobility Assistive Devices to young people from our local area!
We are pleased to announce that the Alliss Invitational Charity Day (hosted on Monday 4th September 2023) raised just over £54,000, providing Mobility Assistive Devices, funding for sensory rooms, and power packs for those in need, including children from Montacute School, Victoria Education Centre, Langside School, Linwood School and Beaucroft College. What a great day and evening we all had and our thanks to Bob Suggett, this year's Club Captain. Bob organised a fun day on the course with some interesting and challenging pin placements, combined with a variety of different tee positions. We were then treated to a very entertaining evening show, with members dancing away to an ABBA tribute band. Thank you to all the volunteers who assisted throughout the day and evening, the Pro-shop staff for running the day's competitions, Will Sands and his team for the on-course refreshments, keeping our swings lubricated, and the excellent hog roast after golf. Finally to Danny Murray and his team who produced two golf courses of the highest order.
