Hardy B close in on the top of the table!

The Hardy B team played at home to the previously unbeaten Dorset Golf & Country Club in their latest league match.

In game 1 Ferndown’s consistent opening pair of Mark Haslingden & Richard Holmes came back from losing the first two holes to secure a comfortable 5 & 3 win.

In game 2 Craig Palmer & Daniel Lavell both playing as late replacements were edged out losing one down (thanks to both especially Craig who was not feeling well).

In game 3 Paul O’Keffee & Rae Jones came back from being dormy two down to secure a halved match.

Games 4 & 5 both resulted in comfortable wins for Ferndown. Martin Ross and Martin Dix winning 3 & 2 and Steve Davis and Bob Jackson winning 5 & 4.

The overall match result was 3.5 to 1.5 and leaves Ferndown one point a drift from the league leaders Ashley Wood with a game in hand!
