Ferndown Golf Club making further improvements

Well what a year we are having. Following one of the wettest winters on record we are now in lockdown due to COVID - 19. We do hope you and your family are safe and well through all of this.

Although golf has been affected by the events over the last 8 months here at Ferndown Golf Club we have, as usual been busy making further improvements to the facilities for you to enjoy when you next come to visit us, when the current social distancing restrictions have been lifted and we have been allowed to re-open the golf club.

Driving range

We are excited to announce our new driving range which has 4 covered bays and 4 open bays plus a fully equipped golf professional coaching bay. I hope you will agree this is a great addition to our facilities and should enable you to get suitably warmed up before your round of golf at Ferndown Golf Club.

2nd Hole on the Old Course

We are delighted with the transformation of this challenging par 3 hole. We have removal the unsightly concrete bridge and rerouted the pathway further to the right leading from the tee to the green.

I trust you will see from the image how the beauty of the hole has been enhanced by these changes.

14th Hole, Old Course

At this hole we have created a new woodland pathway on the left hand side for those who stray to the left on this attractive bowl shaped par 3.

Clubhouse Patio and 1st Tee

Our new clubhouse patio is the perfect place to relax before or after your round of golf as is the walk to the first tee on our newly laid pathway

We hope it is not too long before we can welcome you to Ferndown Golf Club to come and enjoy the pleasures of playing either the Old or Alliss course before enjoying our hospitality in the clubhouse afterwards.
