Our heritage and traditions are very important, to us, equally as important is our understanding of how golf is changing, becoming more appealing to a wider market and how we need to adapt and accommodate these evolving trends. We continuously strive to provide a fresh, modern outlook to offer members and visitors alike, the very best in men’s, ladies’ and family golf, here in Dorset.

Here at Ferndown Golf Club we encourage and welcome members of all backgrounds and playing abilities and we have a range of membership categories to suit all age groups. We are bound to have something to suit you.

For those new to the sport and wishing to learn how to play the game of golf we have our Alliss Course Academy, this includes 6  private lessons with our golf professional and 6 months unrestricted golf on the Alliss Course.

At Ferndown Golf Club you'll discover:

• County golfers in both the Men's and Ladies Sections.
• A thriving Junior Section which has grown considerably, with nearly 80 young players enjoying the benefits of a full program of competitions and weekly coaching sessions. The junior section previously included Georgia Hall, Womens British Open Champion 2018 as well as Hayley Davies, who as an amateur was the English Ladies Champion in 2010 and 2014. Hayley is now a member of the Ladies European Tour.
• A vibrant and growing Ladies Section.
