The Alliss Course – the challenging 9-hole Alliss Course is available to our visitors most weekdays and weekends.

The Old Course - due to the sheer popularity of the Old Course, it is only available to visitors during the week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

It's fast, simple and convenient to make a booking for one of our courses and costs from as little as £35 per player (Alliss Course), depending on the season and the course chosen.

For groups of 12 or more keen golfers who would like to play the premier heathland course in Dorset, one of our Society Packages is ideal. These are available on Tuesdays and Fridays with prices starting from just £80 per person.

A group is eligible for our society rates if there are 12 or more players.

Making your booking

To make your personal booking please contact Sue Helliker on 01202 653953 or e-mail suehelliker@ferndowngolfclub.co.uk for corporate/society bookings.

To play as a visitor you should either be introduced by a member or produce a CONGU handicap certificate/reference number. Permitted handicaps are 28 for men and boys and 36 for women and girls. An adult must accompany junior players.

All visitor bookings must be confirmed with our office or Professional's Shop at least 48 hours before play.

Please note: if you are organising a large party, exact number of players need to be confirmed 14 days in advance of your visit. Please note that you will then be contracted to pay any green fees and catering costs applicable for that number.

A non-returnable deposit of £20 per player is required before a booking can be confirmed.

For your convenience, we accept payment by most major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Switch and Delta. We also accept payment by cheque or by bank transfer. Unfortunately, we do not accept payment by American Express or Diners Club.

Green fees – these should be paid (less your deposit) at the Professional's Shop when you arrive and prior to you teeing off.
