Congratulations to the winners from yesterday’s Silver Jubilee Salver & Putter Mixed competition! The salver was won by the mixed pairings of Jenny & Richard McBride and Alison & Bill Seaby. Bill won the putt off on the 2nd hole.

St George's Day was a huge success!

Wednesday 26th April 2023

Our inaugural St Georges Day Competition attracted a full field on a nice dry day, which seemed to help the scoring as there were some amazing scores in the 50’s despite what some might call “teasing pin positions”. Congratulations to Paul Cherrett, Daryl Dampney, Sean Millard, and Martin Vowles, who won on countback against Ben Dilling, Gary Earl, Jonnie Iles, and Will McNamara, with both teams scoring a fantastic net 56! Congratulations to the winning team on the Alliss Course, Joanne Arnold, Jane Craigmyle, Carol Grimes, and Christine Perrett, who again won on countback with an amazing 28 points!

Help 4 Heroes - A Word from the Captain

On Thursday 13th April, Ferndown’s Help for Heroes charity organiser Derek Silk and I were delighted to hand over a cheque in the sum of £7,500.00, to John Carpenter, the Area Fundraising Manager for this excellent charity. This sum was raised at the event held at Ferndown on Friday 10th March, by the great generosity of all participants and the hard work of organisers. A further sum of £2,500.00 was also added to Dorset Children’s Foundation, my Captain’s charity for the year. A massive thank you to all involved!
