Captain's Day

Captain's Day

On the 15th June we held our Annual Captain's Day, which consisted of two shotgun starts at 8.30.a.m and 1.30.p.m. After the golf there was a hog roast and live entertainment from our very own Lee Burton and enjoyment was had by all throughout the entire day.

In terms of the golf, there was some new formats that were introduced for the day, idea that were thought of by Captain Matt Fleming himself. One of the new ideas was our 18th hole where we had a special charity hole in which 5 holes were placed around the correct hole and if you were to putt into the wrong hole you would donate money to the Captain's charity. Along with this, whistles were introduced for the mulligans and a mystery draw was made to pair two groups that would be merged together to win the Mystery Draw competition. This was won by Pete Heasman, Robert Brewster, Andy Lear and Neil Henderson, their two scores of 43 & 38 came top for the best combined score.

In terms of the best wining pair, this was won by Steven Sidney and Matthew Sidney who scored a fantastic 44 points.

It certainly was a great day that everyone enjoyed and a big thanks goes out to everyone who helped throughout the day from people in the office to the catering and kitchen team and of course Matt who helped run a fantastic day.

Some pictures are below of our prize winners and other winners on the day.
