Ferndown win Woods Trophy Semi-Final! 

 fiercely fought match was played at Came Down today when Ferndown took on Bridport the Woods Trophy holders!!

With rain, YES RAIN, just before the start the Ferndown Team went on to putting in a great performance! The lineup was Pauline Ross, Kim Fry, Anne Sharp, Ingela Squires-Enfors and Liz Buontempo. They all rose to the challenge of having to give several shots, and were not deterred.

The match went to the wire winning 3/2.

Thank you to the supporters, Ladies’ Captain, Lesley Trevett, Ladies’ Vice Captain, Julie Richardson, and Sue Crabb who also ball spotted.

Now on to the Final of this Inter County Tournament which is being held at Dudsbury on Monday 19 September.

It is the first time Ferndown have been in the Final since 1999!
