A Weekend of Championships

What glorious weather we experienced over Club Championship weekend, albeit sun cream, shade and plenty of drinking water were required for the 36-hole competitors.

Danny and his team presented the Old Course to the highest standard, with firm hard running surfaces and immaculate greens, stimping at over 12.5, testing both the men and the ladies.

Thanks to Kevin Garwood, Head Professional and his team for managing the two competitions, to Will Sands (a new proud dad to Lexi!) and his team for keeping the players nourished and all the other volunteers who assisted in making this a special weekend. Congratulations to the players who took part and completed the course!
