Neil Pike Trophy

We received a fine welcome at Remedy Oak Golf Club by Nigel Tokely. The final day of the Colonial Cup Tour is the Neil Pike Testimonial Trophy in memory of Neil Pike, Head Professional at Ferndown Golf Club from 2005 to 2013. 

On a very pleasant afternoon the boys played off the back tees so the course was over 7,000 yards. There was some fine golf (also quite a few lost balls) and three of the eight pairs beat the par of 72. Joe Turner and Sam Lape finished one under but were beaten by James Durrant/Winston Meshad and Steffen Foley/Owen Burden both finishing at 2 under.

It went to a play off on the ninth hole and after two attempts was won by Steffen and Owen.

The two Pro's James and Ryan were also 1 under bringing an end to a great week for the boys.
